Every trip needs a different level of help. Some travelers just need help choosing the right cruise or resort and getting it booked. Others are juggling flights, trains, hotels, and tours across four cities and want someone to make it all fit together. That's what I do: research, booking, coordination, and support, matched to the trip you actually want to take.

Not Every Trip Requires a Planning Fee

For qualifying cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and select pre-packaged vacations, my planning support is complimentary when you book through Carey-ed Away Travel. If your trip is straightforward and you already know what you want, you may not need custom planning at all.

Where custom planning can be a good fit is when your trip is a bit more complicated: multi-destination itineraries, complex transit connections, and trips with a lot of moving parts that all have to line up. Short Trip Planning || Up to 3 nights

Best for: Weekend escapes, quick city breaks, concerts and events, simple domestic getaways, and pre- or post-cruise stays when the cruise is not booked through Carey-ed Away Travel.

Designed for trips of up to 3 nights in one destination when you don't need extensive custom planning but don't want to spend hours researching, comparing options, and piecing everything together yourself.

Essential Journey $299*

Typically a week or less, one or two destinations: family vacations, romantic getaways, and most international trips.

Best for: International getaways, romantic escapes, family vacations, beach vacations, short European trips, and other trips that need more research and coordination than a quick getaway.

When you want professional help choosing where to stay, what to do, how to get around, and how everything fits together.

Signature Journey $499*

Typically up to 10 days and up to 4 destinations

Best for: Multi-city European trips, honeymoons, bucket-list vacations, and itineraries where the order of stops, travel time between them, and pacing make or break the trip.

When the trip has enough moving parts that planning it well is a project of its own.

May include:

In-depth destination and routing research
Accommodation research, recommendations, and booking across multiple stops
Complex transportation coordination: trains, ferries, flights, transfers, and rental cars
Tour, activity, and experience research and booking
Detailed day-by-day itinerary design with realistic pacing

Bespoke Journey $799*

Longer, more complex trips. Typically up to 2 weeks and 7 destinations

Best for: Once-in-a-lifetime trips, milestone celebrations, complex family travel, and itineraries built around specific interests, events, or experiences.

When the trip needs to be designed around you from the ground up.

May include:

A planning strategy call to map out priorities before research begins
Extensive destination, routing, and logistics research
Accommodation research, recommendations, and booking across multiple destinations
Complex transportation coordination, including private transfers where they make sense
Tour, activity, and experience research and booking, including unique or hard-to-arrange experiences
Detailed day-by-day itinerary design
Multiple rounds of revisions as the plan takes shape

Grand Journey Custom Quote

Extended, Multi-Country, and Group Trips

Best for: Extended travel, multi-country journeys, hosted groups, and trips whose scope doesn't fit a standard category.

These trips vary too much for a standard fee. We'll talk through what you have in mind, and I quote the planning fee in writing before any work begins. No surprises, and no fee is charged until you agree to it.

Group Travel Custom Quote

Family reunions, celebration trips, hosted group journeys, friends traveling together.

Group trips fail on coordination, not destinations. I handle the parts that usually land on one overwhelmed organizer: room and cabin coordination, individual payments so nobody has to collect money from relatives, group communication, and keeping everyone's documents and deadlines in one place. If you're the person who always ends up in charge of the group trip, this is how you get to enjoy it too.

Priority Travel Support $99*

Best for: Trips with a short planning window, last-minute travel, or anyone who needs their planning moved ahead of my current project schedule.

Priority support moves your trip to the front of my planning queue. It doesn't change what's included in your planning service; it changes when the work gets done.

Priority fee: 20% of your planning fee, with a $99 minimum. Quoted and confirmed in writing along with your planning fee, before any work begins.

Priority support is subject to availability and may not be available during high-volume travel periods.

Travel Rescue & Rebooking

Starting at $99

Best for: Travelers who have already booked some or all of their vacation but need professional help troubleshooting an itinerary, fixing logistical problems, filling in missing pieces, or organizing what they've already booked.

Maybe your transportation doesn't line up. Maybe you've booked hotels but haven't figured out what happens between them. Maybe your itinerary has gotten more complicated than expected. Or maybe you've simply reached the point where twelve browser tabs, five confirmation emails, and conflicting advice from the internet have defeated you.

Travel Rescue may include:

Review of your existing itinerary and reservations
Identification of scheduling, transportation, or logistical concerns
Help filling gaps in an existing trip
Transportation or transfer research
Activity and experience recommendations
Itinerary reorganization
Assistance researching alternatives when existing plans aren't working
Organization of trip details into a more manageable plan

Travel Rescue starts at $99. Final pricing depends on the amount of research, troubleshooting, and planning required.
